“Spring Creek Symphony”
This project was aimed at highlighting some of our area’s most beautiful native stream dwelling creatures, and the connections they share with one another. An addiction to seeking trout and trying to better understand their diet, behaviors, and preferred habitat has led to a lot of time spent exploring local streams, as well as sitting behind a vise. As anglers, we often get to observe the exchange that exist between aerial species such as eagles, ospreys and an array of airborn insects, and the stream dwelling trout that are both the predators and prey of these various winged creatures above. There’s an intriguing beauty in this give and take, and I wanted to create this piece as an homage to these species and the divine balance that exists within the natural world.
